SWDF collaborated with local social activists to set up a dedicated medicinal plant nursery in Jalnacherra Grant (Dubatol), promoting environmental sustainability and green livelihoods.
On November 23, 2025, the Social Work & Development Foundation (SWDF) launched a community-driven ecological initiative by establishing a specialized medicinal and herbal plant nursery in Jalnacherra Grant (Dubatol area), Hailakandi (located at Lat 24.277476°, Long 92.510173°). Working hand-in-hand with local social activists and youth, the team erected protective green shade nets and bamboo fencing to cultivate high-value medicinal flora. This plantation project aims to conserve traditional local herbs, encourage environmental restoration, and create sustainable, eco-friendly livelihood opportunities for rural community members through systematic agricultural development.
